[6/12/2014] Brother Adrian and Welsh investigation
This guy is the weirdo behind Children of the Mountain. I thought maybe I can get a lead by digging down into this character's details. His accent is Irish, and he a part of the Ethnic group, Welsh. "The Welsh people or the Welsh are a nation and ethnic group native to, or otherwise associated with, Wales and the Welsh language. The Welsh language, a language within the Insular Celtic family, has historically been spoken throughout Wales, with its predecessor Common Brittonic once spoken throughout most of the island of Great Britain." "The names "Wales" and "Welsh" are traced to the Proto-Germanic word "Walhaz" meaning "foreigner", "stranger", "Roman", "Romance-speaker", or "Celtic-speaker" which was used by the ancient Germanic peoples to describe inhabitants of the former Roman Empire, who were largely romanised and spoke Latin or Celtic languages." With that being said, Welsh Language is a part of CoftM, it mostly has English looking letters. This also indicates that some words in English language MEAN differently in Welsh language. "Welsh is written in a Latin alphabet traditionally consisting of 28 letters, of which eight are digraphs treated as single letters for collation:
a, b, c, ch, d, dd, e, f, ff, g, ng, h, i, l, ll, m, n, o, p, ph, r, rh, s, t, th, u, w, y
In contrast to English practice, "w" and "y" are considered vowel letters in Welsh along with "a", "e", "i", "o" and "u"."
Something might be in-game related to this, I'll be looking into this.
