This cult existed in both 3D and HD universe, it's bigger than others. I'll be covering everything that I can find regarding this.
First of all. There are some interesting articles to read at the offical Epsilon Website but no actual leads for in-game matters but some interesting stuff are to be found there.

same goes with it's Twitter account. A page in Rockstar games website which now does not exist anymore took my attention since it was related to Epsilon, was able to find a 2014 cache of the website but nothing interesting.
According to the website, Cris Formage (The leader) lives on the island Gran Canaria, "Gran Canaria is one of Spain’s Canary Islands, off northwestern Africa. It's known for its black lava and white sand beaches. Its southern beaches include bustling Playa del Inglés and Puerto Rico as well as quieter Puerto de Mogán and San Agustín. In the north, capital city Las Palmas is a major stop for cruise ships and duty-free shopping. The island’s interior is rural and mountainous." Nothing about this is related to the in-game mystery, so I'm moving forward.
According to the facts Epsilon is built on a "Kraff" which is that brownish thing which some humans have on some parts of their body (mostly faces). Kraff also stands for a family surname which might be the founders of this cult. People with Kraff surname usually are known to be farmers, so this might be a good lead to look around the farms for a clue. ALSO another amazing fact, Kraff's origin and date goes back to Germany and Greek regions, Cris says that this cult is 157 years old, dating back to 1850s and 1860s and surprisingly the Kraff surname immigration records date all the way back to 1851. In that era, Mormonism was also gaining attraction "Mormonism is a religious movement that was founded by Joseph Smith in 1830. The people that belong to this religion are called Latter-day Saints, or Mormons. Their teachings are similar to many Christian churches, and they consider themselves to be Christian."
I also found another weird website called the Cultstoppers but then again, nothing interesting there.
This is a primary cult in the game unlike CoftM and Altruist cults. You also can see Cris floating in the air and saying some weird things to you upon your first death in GTAO.
This needs more investigations.
